Good news N900 users. Pali yesterday announced that an update for Kernel Power is in repo's. Its version 53. It has many bug fixes and improvements over previous version of KP. Change log and installation after the break.

[Maemo 5] Facebook contacts not showing FIX

Hello there. If you use Facebook on your N900 then you probably almost know that Facebook chat was working but was not showing any contacts in Conversation when you clicked on New IM. Screenshot is attached without fix applied.

Maemo Community Software Update: T-maemo5 (Testing Version)

Maemo Community has released an update for N900 CSSU-testing users. It fixes and replaces many Nokia components.

Community Update version is T-maemo5 (21.2011.38-1Tmaemo5 (11.09.2012)).  

There is also a small update released immediately after this update to fix a typo. 
Version: T-maemo5.1(21.2011.38-1Tmaemo5.1 (11.09.2012)).

Here is note from Merlin1991 regarding Operator Name Widget 

"Note: Install the Operator Name Widget update prior to updating the cssu, otherwise you'll have dependency problems. It can be safely removed after the cssu update."

Few days ago Maemo Community released a system update for N900 as usually they release update for it and CSSU testing go update to T-maemo4 Ver: 21.2011.38-1Tmaemo4. There is nothing much to write about it as the title says everything.

Community SSU Stable Version Released

It has been some time that Maemo Community Released a stable version of CSSU (Community Seamless Software Update) which totally stable and will not risk a device reflash (Maybe). Hi N900 users. I saw lots of people doesnt know how to update their Nitdroid kernel as there is no automatic way of updating it via HAM. The only way to update it by using Xterm. But bear in mind that I WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE IF YOU DAMAGE YOU DEVICE OR LOSE YOU FILES.

Hi. It is my first post to guide you people to something. Its been almost a week that a update for NITdroid release. Its Android 4.0.3 also known as Ice Cream Sandwich. Here is the guide to upgrade your Nitdroid. Remember one thing. I WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE IF YOU DO ANYTHING WRONG WITH YOUR DEVICE.

For updating Nitdroid, you should have installed nitdroid in your N900. Nitdroid ver 2.3.5 or 2.3.7. one of the two should be installed.

Android Next Update Ice Cream Sandwich has been ported to N900

Its obviously a big news for all N900 users who love to use Android in their beloved N900. So here is a big update for N900 users. Today i checked a video on youtube and saw something amazing. Something which i dreamed to be ported. It has been just 2 days that Ice Cream Sandwich source codes are released and now it has been ported to N900. Its not stable yet and very slow also.
