[ANNOUNCE][M5] Kernel Power 53 now in Extras-Testing

Good news N900 users. Pali yesterday announced that an update for Kernel Power is in repo's. Its version 53. It has many bug fixes and improvements over previous version of KP. Change log and installation after the break.

Community CSSU-Stable Update 21.2011.38-1Smaemo7 (Upcoming)

A Good news for CSSU stable users. After about 14 months you people are finally receiving a update. This update mainly contains bug fixes and also a security fix. All credits for this update goes to Maemo Community and sixwheeledbeast for taking responsibility of pushing updates for CSSU-Stable users. Changelog after the break.

A New CSSU-Testing update Available

Hello Maemo Users. Today merlin1991 pushed a CSSU-T update in repository. Latest version is 21.2011.38-1Tmaemo8. It has some changes and some apps are updated as usual. Change log after the break.

FileBox a great file manager for N900 with great root access. If you love to play with N900 and want to have a great file manger with some extra tools then this one is for you.

FileBox is now receiving updates as earlier its developer was not updating it and it was having some bugs. A Maemo developer Arno Dekker is now developing FileBox and releasing update for it. It's good to see that someone is still interested in this great file manager.

Maemo Community Software Update: T-maemo5 (Testing Version)

Maemo Community has released an update for N900 CSSU-testing users. It fixes and replaces many Nokia components.

Community Update version is T-maemo5 (21.2011.38-1Tmaemo5 (11.09.2012)).  

There is also a small update released immediately after this update to fix a typo. 
Version: T-maemo5.1(21.2011.38-1Tmaemo5.1 (11.09.2012)).

Here is note from Merlin1991 regarding Operator Name Widget 

"Note: Install the Operator Name Widget update prior to updating the cssu, otherwise you'll have dependency problems. It can be safely removed after the cssu update."

[Announce] kernel-power stable v50 in Extras-Devel

Pali has update its kernel-power from version 49 to version 50. If you dont know what is Kernel Power then Kernel power is kernel which enables overclocking N900 from 600 to 1150 mhz.

It has been some time that Maemo Community Released a stable version of CSSU (Community Seamless Software Update) which totally stable and will not risk a device reflash (Maybe). You can install it as the old fashioned way which we used to install Testing Version. Link To Changelog and for other instructions can be found after the jump.
