Doodle Jump is one of the hottest games available in the market. Its simple yet addictive and is available for All major platforms iOS, Android and BlackBerry. But now thanks to Maemo Community member 蝉曦m for porting it to N9, thanks to elros34 for porting to out N900 and another thanks goes to ade for creating deb file for N900 and uploading it to Extras-Devel.

Its currently available in Extras-Devel and you have to enable Extras-Devel in order to install it. Be careful with Extras-Devel repo as its intended for WIP, and devel projects. A few screenshots and then we will proceed to the installation guide.

As its currently in development; there is no sound in game. If you have CSSU installed and have locked device in landscape mode with orientation lock applet, disable landscape lock and start the game and also close the keyboard. Without doing so game will not rotate to portrait mode as its a portrait mode game.

Installation:

1. Open Xterminal and type
       root (enter)
2. After getting root access type
      apt-get update (enter)
3. When APT command finishes its job. Then type
      apt-get install doodlejump (enter)
4. When done installing simply start game from application menu. And you are done.

Important Notes:

1. Enable Extras-Devel at your own cost. It may damage your phone (software wise) and may brick your device. Proceed with caution. To enable it visit here http://wiki.maemo.org/Extras-devel#How_to_activate_Extras-devel
