[Tutorial+App] Make your N900 menu Look Like N9

bill_klpd created a nice mod to make our beloved N900's menu like N9's. It look great but icons are now a bit small. But still it worth the sacrifice. When you apply this mod then there will be 6 icons in a row in landscape mod and 4 icons in portrait mod.

How to enable this mod:

KEEP IN MIND THAT YOU CAN'T JUST UNINSTALL THIS MOD TO GO BACK TO DEFAULT N900 MENU. IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT THEN BE PREPARED TO FLASH YOUR DEVICE ROOTFS UNTILL YOU HAVE A BACKUPMENU BACKUP. SO THINK TWICE BEFORE APPLYING THIS MOD.

First of all you have to download a small app (237 kB) from HERE (Mirrorcreator) or HERE (Dropbox). and when you have downloaded the app put it in N900 (don't put it in any folder) and start terminal and type these commands:

root [enter]

cd /home/user/MyDocs/ [enter]

dpkg-i hildon-desktop_2.2.153~1_armel.deb [enter]

When the app is installed reboot your device. All done.

2. Use Mirrorcreator link if that didn't worked for you then go for Dropbox link. Dropbox link is for backup only incase file is removed from Mirrorcreator.
