Android: Quadrant Advanced Edition Ver 1.1.7

Requirements: Android 1.5+
Overview: Quadrant is a CPU, I/O and 3D graphics benchmark. The Standard Edition requires an Internet connection to compute benchmark results and is supported by ads. The application does not work on devices with no GPU (Spica, Tattoo).


 Quadrant is a benchmark for mobile devices, capable of measuring CPU, memory, I/O and 3D graphics performance.

 The initial release for Android smartphones is now available on Android Market. This release targets Android SDK 1.5 and OpenGL ES 1.1.

[Announce] Kernel-Power v51 by Pali Rohar

Hi there. As all you N900 users know that what kernel power is. Well Pali today updated Kernel Power to v51 (previous v50). Its nice to see users still releasing updates for N900. Changelog and original thread link after the break.

Here is Notes from original thread. (Beware that this package is still in Devel repo. It may be unstable and may cause harm to your device. DO IT AT YOUR OWN RISK.

Kernel-power version v51 (r1) is now in Extras-Devel!

Update (from old version):
Use Hildon Application Manager or via apt-get

Installation:
From Hildon Application Manager install package: Linux kernel for power user
Or via apt-get package: kernel-power-flasher

Blogger note: if previously installed kernel power and want to update it in one go then proceed with these instructions.

Open Xterminal and type:
root
apt-get update
apt-get upgrade (this will done the rest)

Overclock support (optional):
From Hildon Application Manager install package: Linux kernel for power user (settings and overclock)
Or via apt-get package: kernel-power-settings

Maemo: CSSU Testing Update Released

Few days ago Maemo Community released a system update for N900 as usually they release update for it and CSSU testing go update to T-maemo4 Ver: 21.2011.38-1Tmaemo4. There is nothing much to write about it as the title says everything.
